Mystery of Menopause

Q. Is there any piece of wisdom that you could give one to help cope with menopause?

A. Menopause is definitely a stage where the discomfort is optional. It produces releases from the liver in the form of hot flashes. If one were to go through the 5-month purification program, How to Facilitate the Healing of Chronic and Systemic Disease that I have recommended, the liver will be cleansed in a way that there is no further need for these unpleasant experiences. It also helps to balance the emotions. In case there are still mood swings, depression, etc, I recommend adding in Psy-stabil to be used 15 drops, 3-4 times per day. This is also a very helpful spagyric homeopathic remedy (see What are Spagyric Homeopathic remedies? post of 3/3/13) to give teenagers during the very emotional time of the first year’s of menstruation. In the case of severe menopausal symptoms, acupuncture by a proficient practitioner is also very helpful because it assists to balance the endocrine system. In the rare event that we still have any menopausal symptoms after the 5-month purification program and acupuncture , the thyroid function should also be boosted with apo-Strum to strengthen the thyroid with a dosage of ¼ to ½ teaspoon, 2 or 3 times a day.

Calcifications in the Body

Q. How can I rid my body of calcifications?

A. We recommend Mundipur spagyric homeopathic remedy (see our post of 3/3/13 What Are Spagyric Homeopathic Remedies), dosage is one teaspoonful, 3 times per day.  Drink plenty of water as the Mundipur is highly effective and the calcium must be flushed out of your body. You can also strengthen these systems with additional homeopathic remedies:  the liver (ApoHepat), kidneys/bladder and urological tract (Renelix) and lymph system (Itires). These can be taken together; dosage is 15 drops, 3 times a day. Always take homeopathic remedies away from food by at least one hour and use plastic spoon or dosing cup (do not use metal).

How Much Water is Enough and Why It’s Important

Much of the extra weight and flabbiness we associate with eating extra calories is in fact due to toxins trapped under the skin, and related to inadequate water intake. Layers that appear as fat under the skin are often due to the build up of toxins that are not being flushed out, or that are not being handled by an overburdened liver.

The liver becomes overburdened when we use chemicals, non-organic food, cigarettes, alcohol or have poorly digested food due to improper food combining. See the entry of 2/26/13 for suggestions on (click here) Combining Foods for Optimal Nutrition.

Liver Cleanse
Using the following homeopathics for a liver cleanse every 3 months is advised. Remedies may be taken together, away from food at least one hour. Avoid metal, use plastic cup or spoon.
Itires – 1 bottle, supports the lymphatic system in detoxification. Dosage 20 drops, 3 times per day.
ApoHepat – 1 bottle, supports the liver in detoxification. Dosage: 20 drops, 3 times per day.
Toxex – 1 bottle, removes endogenous and systemic toxins from the body; microbial or heavy metals. Turbo-charges the excretion properties of gentler drainage methods. Dosage: Up to 20 drops, 2 times per day (lower dosage to tolerance).

Baseline water intake
Figure 0.5 ounces x Body Weight in Pounds = Daily Fluid Requirement in ounces
OR
Sedentary – 1L of water a day (about 3 glasses)
Moderate to highly active – 1.5-2.5 L per day (about 4-5 glasses)
Note: Increase water intake with hot weather and exercising.

There is a large variation when it comes to individual water needs. Those who are active have increased water requirements, especially if exercising in hot weather. You should drink when you are thirsty but often we overlook our thirst when we are busy or exercising. Check your urine color – if it is white or slightly yellow, it’s a good indication that you are hydrated.

Tasty water
Many people simply don’t like the taste of water, but a little morning preparation can be done to add something pleasant to the water. For instance: 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider vinegar (organic, with the ‘mother’ in it), plus 2 droppers of Stevia can be added to four 12 ounce bottles of water every morning; carry these bottles with you throughout the day. Although the vinegar is conducive to releasing Human Growth Hormone (HGH) from the pituitary, which is conducive to reducing signs of aging, mint or mint and lemon juice, and other healthful ingredients can enhance the taste of water. Please be aware that the sipping of lemon juice and vinegar should be followed by rinsing the mouth with plain water, as the acidic content of these ingredients can erode enamel of the teeth. The mouth is typically an alkaline terrain.
Note: Use of glass or stainless steel containers is preferred for storing drinking water. Avoid prolonged storage of acidic ingredients in plastic bottles. Acidic ingredients, (plus heat when bottles are left in the car) contribute to the break down of plastic. Plastics* in the body mimic hormones causing a variety of disorders and even mutations in species.

*BPA, a chemical found in plastics is commonly found in human and animal tissue and are known as endocrine disruptors; chemicals that interfere with the endocrine (or hormone system) in animals, including humans. These disruptions can cause cancerous tumors, birth defects, and other developmental disorders. A widely used herbicide acts as a female hormone and feminizes male animals in the wild. Thus male frogs can have female organs, and some male fish actually produce eggs. In a Florida lake contaminated by these chemicals, male alligators have tiny penises. There is also growing evidence linking this class of chemicals to problems in humans. These include breast cancer, infertility, low sperm counts, genital deformities, early menstruation and even diabetes and obesity.

Heavy Metals Accumulating in the Body

Facts about Heavy Metals in the Body: Almine Answers Questions Regarding Heavy Metal Toxicity

1. Aluminum:
Common sources of aluminum include aluminum cookware, especially coffee pots, some antacid formulations, and some types of cosmetics-especially deodorants. Some colloidal minerals and herbal products may also have aluminum in them. Aluminum cookware is particularly problematic if acidic foods, such as anything with a tomato base, are cooked in them.

2. Cadmium:
Cadmium toxicity symptoms affect kidney function, heart and cardiovascular tissues, bone, and will cause nervousness in the system, hypertension. Zinc and vitamin E will help to lessen toxicity, but without intervention, it could stay in the human body in excess of 20 years. Cadmium can come from plastics, and synthetic rubber, including old drums from some copy machines. Cadmium ‘Red’ is used in dental acrylics (and dentures) and could be a significant source of exposure for those making dentures or dentists making adjustments (grinding dentures in their office). Cadmium free dentures are now available. The question arises as to whether acrylics used in the mouth are preferable to mercury (amalgam fillings); the answer is a resounding yes. Mercury is the most toxic element known to man. It is inconceivable that it should be used in the mouth.

3. Lead:
Lead is primarily ingested through contaminated food or water, or by children eating substances containing lead, such as lead paint. The degree of absorption of oral lead depends upon the stomach contents (empty stomachs increase uptake), and upon the body’s mineral status. Deficiency of zinc, calcium or iron may increase lead uptake. It is also found in fuels and some Ayurvedic herbs.

4. Mercury:
Mercury is an immuno-suppressive. Early signs of excessive mercury include decreased senses of touch, hearing, vision, and taste, metallic taste in the mouth, fatigue, or lack of physical endurance, and increased salivation. Mercury is commonly used in dental amalgams (50% by weight). It should be clearly understood that the removal of amalgam fillings could produce more toxicity in the body than when they were actually put in the mouth. A biological (‘bio’) dentist, familiar with the removal of mercury, while treating the body to excrete the resulting increase in levels of toxicity, shouldbe used. The purification program that we have given should also precede the removal of the amalgam fillings (treatment is recommended prior to, during and after removal of fillings). See the Mercury –Fish Levels Guide here.

Prior to amalgam removal, Almine recommends:

  1. Renal (kidney) function blood test
  2. Use of the 5-month Pekana homeopathic and diet protocol. See this post for more details on this program; also our Spiritual Journeys webstore to purchase, How to Facilitate the Healing of Chronic and Systemic Disease.
