Natural Stimulators of Human Growth Hormone

Q. Is it possible to stimulate natural regeneration and rejuvenation hormones?

Using Natural Human Growth (HGH) Hormone Stimulators – Maximizing the Results

1. Combine foods properly: Do not eat carbohydrates and protein in the same meal. Milk products and fruits are to be used on their own; they inhibit proper digestion of other foods.

2. Eat a balanced diet, including five helpings of fruit and vegetables a day.

3. Bulk up on protein. The best sources are lean chicken, fish, occasional lean meat, quinoa, amaranth, egg whites and whey protein.

4. Keep fat to a minimum. Foods high in fat can block both the production and release of HGH.

5. Try to keep your meals at least 4 hours apart and avoid between meal snacks.

6. Fast one day every two weeks (optional). Plan this 24-hour period on a day you are not busy and be sure to drink 2-3 quarts of water or juice.

7. Exercise regularly. This sends a signal to your pituitary gland to secrete higher hormone levels. Aerobic exercise results in long term release of growth hormone in the blood for two hours.

Expect adverse effects whenever something synthetic is injected into the human body, for it violates the frequency of human life. Instead, consider the use of that which stimulates the body’s own normal functions and productivity.

Fountain of Youth – Myth or Reality

Is There a Fountain of Youth?

For quite some time researchers have known the decline of growth hormone (GH) seems to play a role in the aging process for about half of the older population. Production of estrogen and testosterone decreases while less well-known hormones like melatonin and thymosin are not as abundant either.

In recent years many scientists have come to recognize aging as a disease and HGH as the potential cure. As the ultimate anti-ager, HGH affects almost every cell in the body and promotes regeneration of the skin, hair, muscles, bones, heart, lungs, liver and kidneys. It speeds up metabolism and can affect reduction in the size of the abdomen, waist, hips and thighs while increasing muscle mass.

HGH acts as an aphrodisiac, increasing the libido and sexuality. It promotes healthy sleep patterns, lessens wrinkles, improves hydration, elasticity, thickness and youthful contours of the skin.

Maximizing the Benefits of Using Natural Human Growth Hormone Stimulators

1. Combine foods properly: Do not eat starchy carbohydrates and protein in the same meal.

6. Fast one day every two weeks (optional)*. Plan this 24-hour period on a day you are not busy and be sure to drink 2–3 quarts of water or juice.

7. Exercise regularly. This sends a signal to your pituitary gland to secrete higher hormone levels. Aerobic exercise results in long term release of growth hormone in the blood for two hours.

Fragrance Alchemy for Easing Menopause

Menopause and Fragrance Alchemy

Q. I have been reading about the alchemical properties of the God and Goddess blend Fragrance Alchemy oils . I’ve been pre-menopausal for many years now and expect that menopause is around the corner. I don’t have any symptoms and do not expect to have any symptoms either. The only thing that I do experience is when my hormones are shifting and changing, I feel tired. Do you believe that the two oils will assist me through menopause?

A. The oils will most certainly assist with the balancing of hormones, and should be used as follows: Place the Blend of the Gods anywhere above bust line at night, before bed time. Place the Goddess Blend anywhere below the breasts in the mornings. The suggested points are the crown for the Blend of the Gods and the sacrum for the Goddess Blend but they can also be alternately placed on other spots, for example, the uterus or ovary area for the Goddess Blend or the thyroid for the Blend of the Gods.

Hair Loss Help

Q. Over the years, I’ve experienced hair loss that no one seems to be able to help with – is there any hope for this situation?

A. Hair loss is usually the end result of a series of systems in the body that become dysfunctional. First of all, you mention that you use thyroid medication. This alone can be responsible for hair loss if the medication is incorrect or the dosage has not been properly tested and adjusted ongoing.  Heavy metal toxicity is also one of the key ingredients in causing hair to fall out. Radiation accumulation in the body (for instance, when children are allowed to sit too close to the television for hours a day), can also cause this to happen.

When fatty waste products such as hormones, birth control pills, steroids and your own imbalanced hormones build up in the body, it burdens the excretionary pathways such as the liver, kidneys, gallbladder, etc.  It is well known that excessive estrogen in a woman’s body thins the hair as well as all the other possible causes. The proper lymph flow is very important for healthy hair growth. Stress can be another factor in that it produces the stress hormone cortisol. This causes imbalance in the thyroid and the endocrine system and the whole system becomes imbalanced. The question then becomes how to set right these dominoes that have fallen over. Some of this depends on your ability to financially invest in aggressive treatment to assist in turning this condition around.

1. I can heartily recommend the Nevada Clinic (Las Vegas, Nevada) for a 2-3 day treatment. The rough estimate for an initial evaluation and treatment course with Dr. Olsen in this clinic is approximately $2,000.00. A few good, inexpensive hotels exist close by (the clinic will provide this information to you, our office can be contacted).  They thoroughly test the levels of heavy metals in the body through a 6-hour urine test and assist with recommending a program for their excretion. All systems of the body are thoroughly tested, including the interaction of the different organs as well as the functionality of the endocrine system. I feel very comfortable that any thyroid medication prescribed by Dr. Olsen  is going to be of the highest caliber and holistically planned as part of a comprehensive treatment program.  Allergies can also place the body under tremendous stress. An allergist is on staff to test and prepare serums to remove stressors from the body.

2. The 5- Month program for detoxification of the body as featured in the book,  How to Facilitate the Healing of Chronic and Systemic Disease, is designed to support the body where one system after another has fallen over and very firmly set it on the path to recovery. See How to Facilitate the Healing of Chronic and Systemic Disease here.

Radinex can be added to this program in the 4th month when all the excretionary pathways are fully functional again. In Almine’s words, “If you are diligent with this program, after 2 months you will see tremendous improvement in your health, sleeping habits, state of well-being, etc. It is however, recommended that the full 5-month program be followed so that these conditions do not easily return.”

3. There is a $300 dollar product available that is a laser specifically designed to promote hair growth when it is used just minutes a day. I wish to point out that shampoos with chemicals, including sulfates, actually have components that cause hair loss. Using shampoos from the health food section and carefully checking labels is possibly the best.

If were to find myself in the position that you are in with long-term, gradual hair loss, I would do what I could to pursue the recommendations we have given here. The most comprehensive approach would be to incorporate all 3 of the above protocols.

What Causes Fatigue?

Have you ever wondered about the causes of fatique? Read on for more information about the possible causes.

Q. What are the causes of fatigue?

A. There are different types of fatigue. One is the type where you have difficulty with muscular strength, and going up the stairs seems harder than what it should be. The other one is fatigue from working, even in front of a computer, for instance. The one has to do with metabolic energy and the other with stamina. Fatigue could have several root causes, and a naturopathic clinic can usually establish which one of these it is.

1. Hormonal causes: When testosterone and progesterone are low, this will be felt in muscular strength. A saliva test given over the course of a day is needed to establish the exact ratios of hormone levels. Often doctors only give women automatic estrogen replacement therapy without doing a saliva test to determine whether or not testosterone and progesterone are low as well.

2. Glucose (sugar) metabolism: If glucose is not metabolized effectively in order to produce energy that reaches the muscles, muscle strength will also be weak.

3. Candida: Review the Candida symptoms here to determine if you may have this condition.

4. Epstein-Barr virus: EBV belongs to the herpes virus family and is one of the most common human viruses. When children are infected with EBV, the virus typically doesn’t cause any symptoms. When teens or young adults get it however, they often develop infectious mononucleosis (‘mono’ or ‘the kissing disease’). Although most cases of mono clear up in a month or two, EBV remains dormant (inactive) inside the person’s immune system cells. Most people have some traces of this virus in their body (95% in the US), because they have been exposed to it through other people, even though it may not have ended up as a full-blown case of diagnosed mononucleosis. It is often found that people who have had mono, have been treated with antibiotics  (used to treat symptoms such as tonsillitis, lymph gland swelling, etc.) and therefore have Candida. Although Epstein-Barr virus is claimed to be incurable, we have had tremendous success in treating it, along with Candida, on the 5-month Chronic Disease program, see here.

Note: It has been found that tung oil used for the manufacture of oil paints, varnishes, waterproof substance, anti-corrosives and other products, have EBV-activating potency. It is highly recommended to avoid all products that contain tung oil.

Euphorbia tirucalli, isa succulent cactus-like plant from South Africa, introduced as a garden and common houseplant (known also as pencil cactus, petroleum plant or milkbush). The sap of this plant has been clinically documented as actually promoting cancer development, suppressing the immune system, and activating dormant Epstein-Barr virus.

Serotonin – The Feel Good Hormone

Handy Health Hint:

Serotonin is a hormone that functions as a neuro-transmitter. Much of the newest serotonin research focuses on the molecule’s activity not as a neurotransmitter, a conveyor of information, but as a hormone, a shaper of tissues. It regulates the growth and maintenance of the skeletal system throughout life (breaking down old bone and building new bone), and is thought to regulate learning, memory, mood and sleep.

Some cases of depression are influenced by reduced quantities or activity of serotonin in the brain and we tend to have seasonal variation in levels, with lower levels in the winter months. Adequate sleep, physical exercise and activity increase serotonin levels.

Most all protein foods contain tryptophan, a precursor to serotonin, including walnuts, chicken, turkey, eggs, salmon, spirulina and soybeans. Folic acid is needed for the absorption of tryptophan – you can literally eat your way to happiness with food rich in tryptophan and folic acid, the building blocks to maintaining high levels of serotonin. Remember to eat your leafy greens, beans, and whole grains – good sources of folic acid.

bootstrap_almine_v5And what about romance? Oxytocin, known as the ‘love hormone’ due to its part in bonding, mating and the birth process, is increased when we experience love, trust and comfort – thus spending time in enjoyable social interaction with friends, family and our romantic partner (including sexual activity and orgasm) are other ways to increase our serotonin levels and our sense of well being and mood.

See our post of April 8 about Blue Lagoon – The Romance of Being a Woman for more details about Fragrance Alchemy  and increasing your serotonin levels here.

Natural Hormone Balance

Promoting Hormonal Balance

In the interaction between men and women, there are 2 ways that proper hormonal production can be mutually facilitated:
Through intercourse, the woman gives estrogen through the walls of her vagina to the man to help balance the feminine within him. His ejaculation provides her with progesterone and testosterone, which helps balance the masculine within her.

There are also highly specialized and calibrated oil blends with precious ingredients from around the world that can be worn by a woman to facilitate hormonal changes in males in her environment and visa versa. The feminine pure fragrant oil is called The Goddess Blend. The masculine pure oil blend is called The Blend of the Gods. One of the ingredients in the male blend is the priceless oil, Oud, from Agar wood. It is also called the Oil of Sultans. Although it has been prized by kings over the ages, by itself the Oud oil is not sufficient to bring hormonal balance to the man who wears it, nor to the woman in his environment. It is in combination with a few other ingredients that the alchemical interplay between the oils produces a highly effective blend for healthful hormonal production. The fragrances themselves have very beneficial effects in uplifting the spirits and promoting a sense of well being because of their exquisite fragrances.  These oils are available at our Fragrance Alchemy website here.

Birth Control Pills and Hormones

We received a question recently regarding the use of birth control pills – see our answer below.

Q. What kind of message do hormones send out to the opposite sex while taking birth control pills?

A.  Studies have been done that point out that women in public situations receive far higher tips during the time that they are ovulating. The tips diminish at the times of their menses or if they are pregnant. There is a direct attractiveness factor as to whether or not the hormones are signalling that the woman is available or not. During use of the birth control pill, besides all the detrimental effects on ones health, the hormones send out the signal that you are pregnant. This actually diminishes the attractiveness factor for the opposite sex.

What is Causing Fatigue?

Q. I can outwork anyone while sitting at my desk, without fatique. Why is it that my muscles can hardly carry me up a few flights of stairs? It is as though I have stamina, but not the necessary energy for physical activity. Can you please explain?

A. It could be that the muscles are not receiving the necessary supply of energy from your sugar (glucose) intake and metabolism. This first possibility may have to do with ingestion, processing and delivery. Chromium is the supplement that can address the situation if the problem is sugar related. Blood sugar should be tested in the event that you may have a mild form of hyperglycemia/hypoclycemia (instability of blood sugar levels, which can be a precursor of the development of diabetes), or diabetes. Diabetes is a metabolic disorder caused by the inability to make or use insulin, which is a hormone produced by the pancreas.

The second possibility is that it is caused by an imbalance or lack of other hormones. When there are not enough male hormones being produced by the body, for both men and women, and/or the ratio between masculine and feminine hormones is not at optimal levels, muscular strength becomes less. It is important that a holistic doctor tests the ratio and the production of hormone levels including the main sex hormones, estradiol, progesterone and testosterone.  Testosterone is an anabolic hormone (builds tissue) that is essential for men and women; the proper level is necessary for bone health, muscle strength, stamina, sex drive and performance, heart function and mental focus. The main adrenal hormones are DHEA and cortisol.  DHEA is a precursor to other hormones, mainly testosterone, and is essential for energy production, blood sugar metabolism, anti-inflammatory effects and stress response.

The most reliable way to test hormones is through saliva (they can also be measured in blood and urine). Saliva tests determine the active part of our hormones and it is these portions that determine how we feel.

At all costs, avoid being given the hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that is so prevalent at this time. The leading female hormone replacement therapy is made from concentrated horse urine. The horses are kept artificially pregnant, outfitted with a diaper-like container that catches the urine, and from this women are given estrogen replacement.

A very safe way to balance the hormone ratios if they are found to be low is through hormones from plant sources. The progesterone is placed somewhere on the body above the navel at night (on the upper abdomen or inner forearm, for example), and the estrogen compounds are placed below the navel in the mornings (the lower abdomen, for example). When only estrogen is given, it becomes like a delinquent child and causes problems in the body. Plant hormone compounds should never be placed on or close to the breasts and the sites of application should be rotated as the hormones saturate the tissues at the site of application.

Please don’t assume that because you may be of a specific age that you automatically require estrogen hormone replacement.  Many health companies accentuate health hazards in order to sell their artificial products. Saliva testing is the most accurate way to determine what is needed.
