How Much Water is Enough and Why It’s Important

Much of the extra weight and flabbiness we associate with eating extra calories is in fact due to toxins trapped under the skin, and related to inadequate water intake. Layers that appear as fat under the skin are often due to the build up of toxins that are not being flushed out, or that are not being handled by an overburdened liver.

Liver Cleanse
Using the following homeopathics for a liver cleanse every 3 months is advised. Remedies may be taken together, away from food at least one hour. Avoid metal, use plastic cup or spoon.
Itires – 1 bottle, supports the lymphatic system in detoxification. Dosage 20 drops, 3 times per day.
ApoHepat – 1 bottle, supports the liver in detoxification. Dosage: 20 drops, 3 times per day.
Toxex – 1 bottle, removes endogenous and systemic toxins from the body; microbial or heavy metals. Turbo-charges the excretion properties of gentler drainage methods. Dosage: Up to 20 drops, 2 times per day (lower dosage to tolerance).

Baseline water intake
Figure 0.5 ounces x Body Weight in Pounds = Daily Fluid Requirement in ounces
OR
Sedentary – 1L of water a day (about 3 glasses)
Moderate to highly active – 1.5-2.5 L per day (about 4-5 glasses)
Note: Increase water intake with hot weather and exercising.

There is a large variation when it comes to individual water needs. Those who are active have increased water requirements, especially if exercising in hot weather. You should drink when you are thirsty but often we overlook our thirst when we are busy or exercising. Check your urine color – if it is white or slightly yellow, it’s a good indication that you are hydrated.

Tasty water
Many people simply don’t like the taste of water, but a little morning preparation can be done to add something pleasant to the water. For instance: 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider vinegar (organic, with the ‘mother’ in it), plus 2 droppers of Stevia can be added to four 12 ounce bottles of water every morning; carry these bottles with you throughout the day. Although the vinegar is conducive to releasing Human Growth Hormone (HGH) from the pituitary, which is conducive to reducing signs of aging, mint or mint and lemon juice, and other healthful ingredients can enhance the taste of water. Please be aware that the sipping of lemon juice and vinegar should be followed by rinsing the mouth with plain water, as the acidic content of these ingredients can erode enamel of the teeth. The mouth is typically an alkaline terrain.
Note: Use of glass or stainless steel containers is preferred for storing drinking water. Avoid prolonged storage of acidic ingredients in plastic bottles. Acidic ingredients, (plus heat when bottles are left in the car) contribute to the break down of plastic. Plastics* in the body mimic hormones causing a variety of disorders and even mutations in species.

*BPA, a chemical found in plastics is commonly found in human and animal tissue and are known as endocrine disruptors; chemicals that interfere with the endocrine (or hormone system) in animals, including humans. These disruptions can cause cancerous tumors, birth defects, and other developmental disorders. A widely used herbicide acts as a female hormone and feminizes male animals in the wild. Thus male frogs can have female organs, and some male fish actually produce eggs. In a Florida lake contaminated by these chemicals, male alligators have tiny penises. There is also growing evidence linking this class of chemicals to problems in humans. These include breast cancer, infertility, low sperm counts, genital deformities, early menstruation and even diabetes and obesity.
